In the Bible it is written that Jesus said, “...If I do not go away, the comforter will not come unto to; but if I go I will send him to you.” (John 16:7)
The Lord ascended into heaven after arising from
the dead. Jesus Christ did go up to heaven. The comforter did come down to earth. To us. After
Jesus had left them and gone back to Heaven, the Holy Spirit descended on the
disciples while they were praying in the Upper Room. That was the original
descent of the Comforter.
The Holy Spirit is available to you. But you must
first accept salvation through Jesus Christ by Blood shed on the Cross and
Resurrection of God the Son from the dead. Hallelujah!
Pray and seek the Lord.
Make your existence your upper room. Invite Jesus Christ into your heart. That,
my friend, is lasting comfort.
