Cutting Edge

Hello my friend. I pray your week is filled with blessings too numerous to explain… bursting with joy! As you continue pressing on, let me encourage you to meditate on Scripture. God’s word is more than enough for every minute of every day of every life. God’s word is truth for all the ages. This TRUTH stands. And our God, Almighty Jehovah God, is sovereign. Yea, Jesus Christ is Sovereign LORD. Make him your Lord and Savior today. Stay connected to the Almighty Omnipotent Matchless Creator—God of Heaven and Earth.

GOD’S WORD IS ENOUGH.... “God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. For this good news—that God has prepared this rest—has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God."

GOD’S WORD IS POTENT…. “For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said, “In my anger I took an oath: They will never enter my rest,” even though this rest has been ready since he made the world. We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh day: “On the seventh day God rested from all his work.” But in the other passage God said, “They will never enter my place of rest.” So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God.”

GOD’S WORD IS REASSURING…. “So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.”

GOD’S WORD IS FIERCE…. “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.”

GOD’S WORD IS HOPEFUL…. “So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

God's Word is Active and Refreshing

In the Book of Hebrews, Chapter 11, God Almighty Speaks:
"Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.
For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won’t grow weary and lose heart. In struggling against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons:
My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or faint when you are reproved by Him, for the Lord disciplines the one He loves and punishes every son He receives. Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline—which all receive—then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Furthermore, we had natural fathers discipline us, and we respected them. Shouldn’t we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but He does it for our benefit, so that we can share His holiness.
No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the fruit of peace and righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated but healed instead.”

Jehovah Sabaoth Jehovah Shalom

My friend, you truly have no care. Jesus carries all your cares, be committed to God. When you wake up in the morning, pledge to be excited about Jesus. Long before the day presents its agenda for you choose that your answer will be, “Yes, Lord I say Yes to Your Name.” You are the reason for everything God does.
God does it all so that you would reflect His Glory. God sets life in motion so that you would be made perfect for Him. God permits life events to come your way so that you would sift through it and shed “your flesh” and focus on living forever, in eternity, with Him. God allows life to happen to you so that you would grow under His bright love. Just like a sunflower.

THE LORD OF HOSTS IS GOD OF PEACE

God allows life to happen around you so that you would recall just who your heavenly father is. So that you would respect that Almighty God is Jehovah Sabaoth. The same God is Jehovah Shalom.

Blessings and peace,

Midnight Reflections

WHAT IF Christ were to return tonight. While the world is sleeping. At that midnight hour when each of us is sound asleep. Never to wake up to the world we knew yesterday. Would you be prepared to live the decision you have made about eternity? Could you face JESUS the righteous Judge? What if tonight is your last night on earth. Will you be okay! Would the matter of your soul salvation be settled in JESUS Christ SALVATION Plan? Would you really be fine with your decision about Christ? I pray so. That you would come to accept Christ.
Let's Meditate on the Scripture, words for life, given from ALMIGHTY God:
"Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the LORD with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling. Submit to God's royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities--for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him." (Psalm 2:10-12 Holy Bible, NLT)

Go On ... Keep On Going On

Whether or not you have reason to laugh today is not the issue. Laugh anyway. Inside of you dwell the potency of the Living God.
Most Africans know that to restart the fire in a “coal pot” all you need do is blow at the embers. So it is with the child of God. Utilizing the strength Jesus Christ has imbued in you, blow with all your might. Soon you would feel the warmth of His glory overtaking your fatigue. There is a lit flame inside of you, child of God. It is called PERSEVERE: That’s how you restart the passion in your life. You keep going on!!! That is how you break a smile. And immediately, loud laughter follows.
