Up There Yonder ...

Is it You that heaven is clapping and dancing for today? If so, great! If not, why not?
“In the same way, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent” (Luke 15:7 NIV).
Why not cause more joy jumps up there yonder in Gloryland. Today. Take the step of Salvation. Today. Make the decision to have your name written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world—Jesus Christ Book of Life. Today. Go ahead and cause all of heaven to shout your name with joy. Cause more rejoicing up yonder.

“Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” (Luke 15:3-7 NIV).

Each of Us is All of Africa... #RaisetheBar

My dear fellow African,
I've come to tell you this: Exciting events are happening in Africa. The promise of an awesome time for Africa is now. 2016 is a promising year for all African countries. Two Thousand Sixteen is an auspicious year for all Africans who desire to see the African Continent thrive. Each of you must play a part. Each person has an important role in the building up of your individual country. Each of you must contribute to Africa.
Each of us is all of Africa. Let us all be leaders. Let us all be followers. Patriotism involves being in the lead, where appropriate. Patriotism involves following after another, where appropriate. Be a law-abiding citizen. Support your President and heads of government. Support public officials.
When there are disagreements about leadership and governance citizens must refrain from violent clashes and unnecessary protests. The military in respective countries must abandon Coup d’état mentality and instigating overthrow of established regimes. Political opponents must refrain from inciting unrests that lead to internal conflicts and civil wars. African countries are still yet in developmental stages and cannot handle nor afford the aftermath of these actions. I have found that many times it was not a revolution that was needed. Rather, it is timely evolution that was missing.
Africans must practice the art of expressing frustrations without destroying accomplishments. Africans must learn the discipline of respect. Africans must exercise the discipline of self-control. Go along with good policies and sound judgements. Applaud honesty and decency in public service. Express your disagreements responsibly and through proper channels. Africans must institute systems and allow such systems to work. Remove selfishness and personal greed from your character.
Let us all be servants of our land. Let us all be takers of the potential Africa offers. Let us all be givers toward our national upkeep. Exciting events are happening in Africa. It starts with you. The promise is with you. Stay involved. The promise of a greate Africa lies in you. Become part of the excitement in Africa 2016. By the grace of Almighty God Africa’s glory days are here to stay.  #RaisetheBar

Back to Basics ...

Take Seriously the Word of Almighty God. There is Tremendous Power in Scripture.

“Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying, ‘Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it the message that I tell you.’ So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, three days journey in breadth. Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s journey. And he called out, ‘Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!’

And the people of Nineveh believed God. They called for a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least of them.

The word reached the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, removed his robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he issued a proclamation and published through Nineveh, ‘By the decree of the king and his nobles: Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything. Let them not feed or drink water, but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and let them call out mightily to God. Let everyone turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. Who knows? God may turn and relent and turn from his fierce anger, so that we many not perish.’

When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.”
