Live fully. Live your
life to the fullest, in decency and tastefully. Be appreciative with life. Show
gratitude in life. Pay attention to your life. Include Jesus. Do not let the
world’s noise drown out God’s voice. Live your life with reverence to Almighty
God. Enjoy the sweet moments. Accept all your moments. In God’s hands those are
beautiful. Each moment is a reason to be thankful. Savor the moments of your
life. Whatever you do, LIVE. Never contemplate quitting. Not for any reason. LIVE.
At all cost. You do not have an alternative; I just took that away from you. I
command you to LIVE. Jesus Christ said to tell you GO ON LIVING. You take one
step and the Lord will complete your walk.

The Cross = Triumph
Never forget the love Almighty God has for you. Always remember the Sacrifice on The Cross. The glory comes after the cross. The victory follows the cross. Christ bore the CROSS for you. Take up your cross and follow Jesus. The reward is abundant life. Unspeakable Joy. Overflowing grace. And when earthly life is complete there awaits a CROWN for you.

Joyous Happy 4th of July to America
Long before
she set forth on its great soil, over twenty-seven years ago, Hortense Grimes
believed in America. Her love and passion for the United States remain
undiminished. This African immigrant sees her beloved naturalized country,
America, as “The capital of the world. A decent place where dreams come true.
One could believe in oneself and reach for the stars. A place synonymous with
hope.” Those expectations still hold true today. As a dedicated prayer warrior she
keeps America on her list of highest prayer priority. In 2012, responding to
the Lord’s directive that she initiates a National Noon Prayer Campaign for
America, Hortense composed the USA Noon Prayer, to get America praying more. The below excerpt is from her published memoir-testimony, "She Shall Stand."
. . .
"I could only rely on His mercies and compassion to restore me and
grant the opportunity to fulfill my heart’s desires. I believed God to brighten
my way. I had no other choice but to believe and wait for Him. By His making
this travel possible, hope was greatly restored. Prayer is my deep passion, and
it became the secret to life in the midst of otherwise unexplainable dismay.
Prayer works every time we utilize it. Prayer changes everything. Prayer will
give new meaning to every circumstance one may face. During times when we lose
faith God remains faithful, and He hears our every prayer. Keep praying my
friend. Keep praying because God listens. In the hymn, “God Moves in a Mysterious
Way” William Cowper writes, 'Ye fearful saints fresh courage take; the clouds
ye so much dread; are big with mercy and shall break, with blessings on your
head.'
"The travel to America was the answer for which I had been waiting.
This would be a brand new start; a new lease on life. I wished that once I
traveled I would have the chance to pursue a medical career, and establish
myself professionally, like I desperately wanted to do. I do not know why I
felt the answer was in coming to America. I just believed that it did. If I
could reach America my dreams would unfold and goals would be accomplished. In
my opinion America was the capital of the world—a place where dreams came true
and anybody could become somebody. America meant sophisticated medical
attention which might address the dreadful ailment afflicting me. Certainly
another great aspect was that everyone could get a job if they were serious
about it.
"I attest America gives one the chance to believe in oneself and reach
up for the proverbial stars. God helped me to reach America, and it has not
disappointed my expectations. Life here is not always easy. Not all my dreams
have come true. But America helped me find myself again. America gave me all
the chances I needed. For the first time in a long, long time, I could see
bright lights at the end of the tunnel. I am proud and grateful for this my
naturalized country. May God bless the United States of America. A country that
gives unknown immigrants open slate to write their own chapter and the
opportunity to afford the ink.”

Independence Day Reality Check
As we celebrate Independence Day in America...
Much of the recent
national, and international headlines, is ridiculously outrageous. All types of
evil seem to be permeating the global social environment. It cannot continue.
We think. It will continue. We know. These are indeed the last days. We must
act together to somehow influence the trend; albeit the times indicate exactly
what the Scripture say will happen. How long “the last days” will last, no one
knows. We do know the Bible speaks to and about our present times.
“The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in my sight so that it does not obey my voice, then I will relent the good with which I said I would benefit it.” (Jeremiah 18:7-10 NKJV).

The great
Antarctica is melting off huge portions, and mankind can do absolutely nothing
to stop the massive glacier from becoming a huge puddle of water. What makes us
think “Super Mankind” can stop the downward spiral and evilness that is prevalent
and spreading quickly throughout societies, communities, nations, and globally?
Mankind makes a great, admirable effort. Superpowers of the world make substantial
efforts.
The United States, the world’s greatest superpower, makes tremendous
efforts to keep the world sane, safe and livable. BUT mankind does not have the
control button for earth. God does. Almighty God controls earth. Absolute
control of the destiny of planet earth and its inhabitants is in the hands of
God Almighty. It is a non-negotiable fact of life.
“I made you I own you,” so says God. Almighty God is Sovereign. Without him, merciful, loving, generous, kind, gracious, forgiving God that He is, we are nothing but dust. “If you do not believe me then order death to resist when I draw the last breath out of your body,” so says God. We are powerless to control our own lives, let alone control destinies of earth. Do the best you can with the best you have, but submit to your maker, God.

Superpower that
you are, America, get your spiritual house in order. Return God to be the God
in whom we trust. Put prayer back where it belongs every day. And not only when
you think it is impressive on programs and agenda. Allow public prayers to God
in the name of Jesus Christ. Therein lay the catalyst to control social
compasses globally and within your borders.
Freedom of religion also means freedom to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Freedom of religion also means freedom to proclaim Christian messages along with all the other stuff that is heard and seen in the media on a daily basis. That is true freedom of religion. Freedom of religion means Christians should be free to express their belief as well.
The nation needs God. The nation needs a Savior. The nation needs Christ. Who will fight for you, America, if you reject God? No one else is rejecting their God. Why should you? Why do you keep diminishing your God? Why do you keep fighting, with all your might, to keep your God hidden? You will never succeed in doing that. The God in whom America has placed its trust is omnipotent and omniscient. That God cannot be hidden. The Lord cannot be contained within man’s confines. Give up trying to restrain the Lord God of Heaven and earth. Jesus Christ has the answers all of your collective brilliance could never fathom. Let us call out to our God, America. The Most High Almighty God, creator of the universe, ruler of Heaven and earth. Jehovah God, the one true living God in whom we trust.

There are two main
characteristics that make this nation great: 1) Inherent belief in the Rule of
Law and 2) Economic Prowess. Both are undergirded with phrases which invoke
deity. So help me God. In God we trust. Hear the African in me bluntly say
this: If your law implores it and your money proclaims it there must be
something to it. America, God is behind you, before you, beside you, above you,
around you, upholding you, and uplifting you. Look to Almighty God without fear
or reservation.
The Word of God
says, “Do not be afraid of this vast battle,
for the battle is not yours, but God’s. …
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and
see the deliverance the Lord will give you…” (2 Chronicles 20:15; 20:17, Holy
Bible NIV).

SPIRITUAL INSIGHT
Hear the WORD of God for today. The Holy Spirit has emphasized these passages of Scripture for ministering to God's people. The Sovereign Lord God Almighty is righteous and just, always watchful and merciful. The Sovereign Lord God Almighty is full of love and kindness. Our Sovereign Lord dispenses to us plentiful grace. Amen.
THUS SAITH THE LORD
“The shepherds are senseless and do not inquire of The Lord;
so they do not prosper and all their flocks is scattered. Listen! The report is
coming—a great commotion from the land of the north! It will make the towns of
Judah desolate, a haunt of jackals.”
“Tell them this: ‘These gods, who did not make the heavens
and earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.’ But God made
the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out
the heavens by his understanding. When he thunders, the waters in the heavens
roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightening with
the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.”
“What is my beloved doing in my temple as she works out her
evil schemes with many? Can consecrated meat avert your punishment? When you
engage in your wickedness, then you rejoice. The Lord called you a thriving
olive tree with fruit beautiful in form. But with the roar of a mighty storm he
will set it on fire, and its branches will be broken. The Lord Almighty, who
planted you, has decreed disaster for you, because the house of Israel and the
house of Judah have done evil and provoked me to anger by burning incense to
Baal.”
“People who worship idols are stupid and foolish. The things
they worship are made of wood! They bring beaten sheets of silver from Tarshish
and gold from Uphaz, and they give these materials to skillful craftsmen who
make their idols. Then they dress these gods in royal blue and purple robes
made by expert tailors. But the LORD is the only true God. He is the living God
and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations
cannot stand up to his wrath.”
“The whole human race is foolish and has no knowledge! The
craftsmen are disgraced by the idols they make, for their carefully shaped
works are a fraud. These idols have no breath or power. Idols are worthless;
they are ridiculous lies! On the day of reckoning they will all be destroyed.
But the God of Israel is no idol! He is the Creator of everything that exists, including
Israel, his own special possession. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is his name!”
“No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of
Man has come down from heaven. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a
pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone
who believes in him will have eternal life. For God loved the world so much
that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will
not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge
the world, but to save the world through him.
“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him.
But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not
believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact:
God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the
light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse
to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is
right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven
and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy
city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride
beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne,
saying, ‘Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and
they will be his people. God himself will be with them.’”
“I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and
the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory
of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. … Nothing evil will be
allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but
only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”
(Jeremiah 10:21-22; Jeremiah 10:11-13; Jeremiah
11:15-17; NIV; Jeremiah 10:8-10; Jeremiah 10:14-16 NLT; John 3:13-17; John
3:18-21 NLT; Revelations 21:1-3; Revelations 21:22; 21:27; NLT)
MAY THIS BE OUR PRAYER TODAY
“I know, O LORD, that a man’s life is not his own; it is not
for man to direct his steps. Correct me, LORD, but only with justice—not in
your anger, lest you reduce me to nothing.”
“LORD, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your
name is full of power. Who would not fear you, O King of nations? That title
belongs to you alone! Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the
kingdoms of the world, there is no one like you.(Jeremiah 10:23-24; Jeremiah 10:6-7 NLT)
