The year Two Thousand and Twenty-Two AD (two thousand twenty three years since the Birth of JESUS THE CHRIST) has diminished by three months. The first quarter of 2022 is finished. Time now relegated to the past. A vacuum for memory. Lost forever in the universal grand scheme of things. Count it unreclaimable time. Mercy! Lord!
Speak to me, ELOHIM. Lead me Yeshua! Cover me Father. Holy Spirit guide my thoughts. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart; the longings of my soul and the yearnings of my spirit; Hallelujah! Be forever acceptable in Thy sight. O LORD my strength forever; and my Redeemer everlasting! Forever and Ever. Throughout Eternity. I pray in Jesus name. O King Eternal, this is Hortense, Thee servant! Speak through me Spirit of the Living God. For me and for them. All these, Thy people. Amen.
Where do we go from here? Let the next three Quarters of 2022 count. Create Legacy. Be about more than just yourself. Do something exceptional for another. Find someone poorer than you and upgrade them. Find someone richer than you and compliment them. Find someone as successful as you and congratulate them. Let good overtake you.
Examine your life. If you've wounded someone in the past, flush your ego and contact them. Place a phone call. They may have been waiting decades to hear from you. Talk. Fix the broken pieces. Say you are sorry. Offenses are two-fold. They bar you. They bar another. Apologies free you. Apologies release another.
In many African societies, and culture, we have not understood the magnitude of an Apology. Ignoring unfinished business create hostilities. Disconnect your contribution to hatred, jealousy and envy. Byproducts of hostility manifest as envy overload even among peers. This is why jealousy reigns King. People rarely take a second glance at the pain they've inflicted on another. We as human beings can become careless with one another. People tend to disregard the feelings of others and be dismissive of heartfelt emotions another person hold dear. Unresolved pain and hurt birth bitterness. That's why there is so much undercover hatred. Unchecked negative emotions on steroid.
There are levels of wickedness against others that leave lifetime scars. That person you tried to destroy still remembers it was you. An apology and asking forgiveness can tackle residual anger. That person you tried to eliminate has found out it was you. That person you foul played survived and now they know you. That person you framed managed to escape and you were exposed. That secret thing you do all the time gets revealed right after you close shop. It has been discovered that you are the mastermind behind another person's dehumanizing experience. Failed plots were uncovered and all fingers point to you. Pride leads your way and arrogance clouds your judgment. Act fancy and pompous all you want, underneath that semi-glossed polished exterior is a cold-hearted, calculated human being and you know it. Apologize to others you have wronged.
Scripture says the power of life and death is in the tongue. The tongue of the offender. The tongue of the offended. Speak and release the healing language of an apology. Receive and accept the healing language of an apology. Conscience is a leech-like companion. An apology can save people. Individuals. Every single person, one individual at a time! Apologies can liberate families, communities, societies, nations and the world. We must embrace introspection as a culture. Be truthful with self. Know the real you. Cultivate the better you. Clean. Rinse. Disinfect. Sanitize. YOU. Present forward the best version of yourself. Create a legacy bigger than you.
Pray. Ask the LORD to grant you grace to humble yourself, pounce pride and tell the people you have wronged, past-present-future, how sorry you are. The response, "Apology accepted" are liberating words for both the offended and the offender. We all could be either one at any time. Kind words create legacy. A habit of kind words, especially kind words like "I am Sorry I hurt you" is a wonderful legacy to leave behind. It becomes a trailblazer. A trend that keeps on gathering steam for generations to follow. What are you waiting for to begin! Create a legacy today.
I love you my friend. God loves you! Jesus wants you just as you are minus the sin attachment, which He alone can remove. Come to the Lord. Bring all your shortcomings. Let ADONAI liberate you. Allow God. There is no place life can take you that the Grace of God cannot reach and rescue you. At the end of the day Eternity beckons. Freedom Complete!
